The terms and conditions of this Linking Agreement govern links with any The Mission Continues (“TMC”) websites (the “Sites”).
LINKS FROM THE SITES
If you would like to request that TMC link to your website, please contact us at info@missioncontinues.org. Please note that TMC typically only provides links from its Sites to its partners, sponsors and to select information providers.
When the Sites includes links to other sites, TMC does not assume any responsibility or liability for any content or materials available at the sites to which it links, including responsibility or liability for the accuracy of such content or materials.
LINKS TO THE SITES
All parties must first obtain TMC’s written approval prior to linking to the Sites (which written approval may be given by email). By creating a link to any of the Sites, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Linking Agreement, and permission to create a link to the Sites is only permitted upon compliance with such terms and conditions.
Standards for Websites Linking to the Sites
TMC expects persons or organizations that link to the Sites to provide factually correct information and to uphold high ethical standards in developing and presenting information. TMC assumes no liability or responsibility whatsoever for any content or materials of any website that is linked to the Sites
Manner of Linking
Links may only be directed to the homepage of the Sites. Links are prohibited to any section page, sub-section page and/or any featured area of the Sites.
When linking to the Sites, you may not in any way create the impression that any content or materials from the Sites are part of your website or that you are the author of such content or materials. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you may not create a frame around the content or materials from the Sites or represent the content or materials in any way differently than as presented on the Sites.
No Implied Endorsement
When linking to the Sites, you may not state or imply that TMC is endorsing you and/or any of your products or services. Additionally, you may not represent that you have a relationship with TMC or any of the events or services that TMC provides, unless such relationship is the subject of a separate written agreement with TMC.
Unless you have a separate written agreement with TMC and have taken all other necessary steps to comply with applicable law, you may not publicize, advertise or represent that you will donate a portion of the proceeds of the sales from any of your products or services to TMC. TMC is unable to accept any donations that have been raised by you in violation of this paragraph.
Restriction on Use of Content and Marks
Except for sponsor materials or as unless otherwise indicated, TMC holds the copyright to all content and materials on the Sites. Further, except for trademarks, service marks and logos of its sponsors and partners, or unless otherwise indicated, TMC owns all of the trademarks, service marks and logos (“Marks”) used and displayed on the Sites. Without the express written consent of TMC, you may not copy, reproduce, display, republish, download, post or otherwise use any of the content or material from the Sites, or the Marks, on your website or in your other communications.
Please note that only official sponsors or partners affiliated with TMC who have a written license agreement with TMC may use the Marks as a link. All other parties must use text links only and may not use any Marks in connection with links to the Sites.
Any use of the Marks requires a separate agreement with TMC and is only permitted subject to, and in accordance with, TMC’s standard branding guidelines and quality control and trademark guidelines regarding use of the Marks.
General
You agree to hold harmless TMC, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, affiliates and licensors from all claims arising out of or related to your link to, or inability to link to, the Sites. If your link to the Sites results in the need for servicing or repair of equipment or data, you agree to assume any costs thereof.
You agree to comply at all times with the Terms of Use posted on the Sites, which are incorporated into this Linking Agreement by reference.
TMC reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Linking Agreement at any time without prior notice, and compliance with such revised terms and conditions is a prerequisite to your continued right to link to the Sites.
TMC further reserves the right to terminate any links to the Sites as it deems necessary, at any time, with or without cause or warning. If TMC chooses to exercise this right, you must within seven (7) days remove your link to the Sites and remove any reference to TMC on your website, such removal to include, without limitation, the removal of TMC’s name and/or the Marks from your website.
